Terms of Service
Last updated: October 25, 2026
1. The service
CallSam AI provides an AI receptionist that answers calls forwarded from a client's phone line, collects caller details, and sends booking information by text message. The AI may occasionally mishear or misunderstand callers. Clients should confirm bookings with their customers.
2. Not an emergency service
The service is not a substitute for emergency services. In an emergency, callers should contact 911 or their local utility. The AI gives only basic safety guidance.
3. Free trial and billing
New clients may receive a 14-day free trial. If the service does not book at least one job request during the trial, the client pays nothing. After the trial, the service is billed monthly in advance at the price agreed at sign-up. There is no long-term contract.
4. Cancellation
Clients may cancel anytime by emailing hello@callsamai.com. Service continues until the end of the paid month, and there are no refunds for partial months. Clients should turn off call forwarding when they cancel.
5. Client responsibilities
- Give accurate business information (services, hours, prices) for the receptionist to use.
- Use the service lawfully, including laws on call recording, privacy and text messaging.
- Respond to booking and urgent requests passed on by the service.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, CallSam AI is not liable for lost jobs, lost profits, or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the previous month.
7. Changes
We may update these terms and will notify clients of material changes by email.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
